Tutoring sessions take place face-to-face at your home. Group tutoring sessions (a maximum of 4 children) will take place at my home. Please note, I live on the third floor and there is no lift – I like to call this a free PE lesson thrown in!

Tutoring sessions last 50 minutes, unless otherwise specified at the time of booking. Each session includes 10 minutes revision and 40 minutes new teaching. Group tutoring sessions are 1 hour.

You can book and pay for a block of sessions in advance (monthly or half-termly) or pay-as-you-go at the end of each session. I accept cash or bank transfer.

Invoices will be sent at the beginning of each month, or half-term, for block payment bank transfers. Pay-as-you-go invoices will be sent within 48 hours of each session. All payments must be settled before the next lesson.

Yes. I have some daytime availability. Please use the website contact form to get in touch with your requirements.

Things happen and sometimes sessions need to be cancelled or moved. It would be great if you could give me 24 hours’ notice but I know that sometimes this is not possible. Please make sure I am aware of the cancellation prior to the session start time. If a student fails to arrive for a session without prior notification, then the full amount will be payable.

If you have paid in advance, and need to cancel a session due to extenuating circumstances, I will try to reschedule the session or, if this is not achievable, refund the money.

Every child learns differently, therefore I offer a 30-minute trial session in order to get to know your child and how they learn. Every session involves lots of games and practical activities: children learn best when they are having fun!
